Hello, everyone. I have recently decided to undergo gender affirmation or transition surgery. I had realised that my gender did not align with the reproductive organs I had very early on in my life. However, I never really had the funds or the stability to undergo a surgical transition. Finally, I am at a place in my life where I can afford the treatment without any financial repercussions. However, I would still love to explore the option to ensure whether or not my health insurance would cover my surgery costs. If anyone here has undergone elective surgery, I would love to know whether your claims were approved or not. Thank you all in advance!
